This one is a PACKED episode! If I didn’t know it was only the 5th episode, I would have thought it was a mid season finale!

The infamous Founders Council Party is here! This episode focused so much on sibling and family relationships - we learned a lot about history too

We are finally in Covington to film! The sets are SO different but it is so nice to see the Mystic Falls we know and love again!

For a pilot episode, this is pretty good. The episode does a good job of setting up characters and the beginning of their arcs. After watching this series a couple of times through already, I always love seeing them so young again! And also seeing all of the callbacks that the series eventually uses like the June wedding and Bonnie's psychic powers.

There are some books out there that I would give anything to read for the first time. To feel the excitement, the surprise, the magic again. You feel it when you re read it but it is never quite the same

If you know, you know. This one is a doozy and broke my heart. Wow, I had a lot to say about this. Follow along as I experience this masterpiece for the first time.

At first, I didn't want to read this book because I wanted to jump right into what happened after Heir of Fire. But I am so glad I did and so glad I chose to read it at this point in the series! Not as many thoughts because I got so swept up in the book

The rumors are finally a reality! A short 2.5 years after the 15 season show ended, we already have a reboot season. They have named it Criminal Minds: Evolution but have also listed it as Season 16 so it doesn't rule out this continuing.

This was a wild ride - oh my lanta. Please enjoy all of the thoughts (that I remembered to jot down) during my first read of Heir of Fire. It was a bit hard for me to get through but I ended up loving it! Enjoy!
