Percy Jackson Reading Guide
Want to reread the Percy Jackson series before the premiere of the series? Me too! Here is a reading guide to help keep you on track to finish before the first episode drops!
TVD Season 1 Episode 2
We are finally in Covington to film! The sets are SO different but it is so nice to see the Mystic Falls we know and love again!
TVD Season 1 Episode 1
For a pilot episode, this is pretty good. The episode does a good job of setting up characters and the beginning of their arcs. After watching this series a couple of times through already, I always love seeing them so young again! And also seeing all of the callbacks that the series eventually uses like the June wedding and Bonnie's psychic powers.
Young Adult
These exclude fandoms which will be in a separate post like Harry Potter, ACOTAR, Shadowhunters, etc.
SHADOWHUNTERS
Ever wondered how to read through the Shadowhunter books? Take a look at my reviews and my suggested reading order!
5 books I wish i could read again for the first time
There are some books out there that I would give anything to read for the first time. To feel the excitement, the surprise, the magic again. You feel it when you re read it but it is never quite the same
Criminal Minds: Evolution - Episode 7
Wow, they weren't kidding when they said this season was going to more adult. The swearing, the scare factor, the explicitness, that end credit scene? Wow.
Criminal Minds: Evolution - Episode 6
I wanted to love this episode, and I did love parts of it. But not enough. It felt too forced, too lined up, and many scenes felt out of character. So what happened?
A LOOK INSIDE: Queen of Shadows
Experience all of the emotion that this book brings, if you can't tell - it brought me a lot. I read this on a plane and had to keep it all inside. But also, there isn't a lot since I was so wrapped up in it!
Criminal Minds: Evolution - Episode 5
Wow. For a midseason finale that was amazing. It was intense, it furthered the plot in so many complicated ways, and pulled at your heart strings. If Criminal Minds does anything well - it is cliffhangers.
Criminal Minds: Evolution - Episode 4
Oh wow, this episode felt SO much better! This was a classic Criminal Minds episode. I loved how familiar this episode was. They brought in aspects from when the show was on the air while also still making it new. We had little bits of the unsub, left off with cliffhangers, introduced new aspects/twists into the plot but got to see the team solve a case.
Criminal Minds: Evolution - Episode 3
After the first 2 episodes, I had high hopes for the third. While it was good - I was still let down a bit. This one did not seem to be as action packed or shocking as the first 2. This episode spent a lot of time on the Unsub (Elias). We got to see more about what his life is like, what triggers him, his thought process and why he might be doing this.
A LOOK INSIDE: Heir of Fire
This was a wild ride - oh my lanta. Please enjoy all of the thoughts (that I remembered to jot down) during my first read of Heir of Fire. It was a bit hard for me to get through but I ended up loving it! Enjoy!
A LOOK INSIDE: Crown of Midnight
Below is a look inside my brain as I read a Crown of Midnight. There aren't as many thoughts for this book because I got so invested, I forgot to write them down!
A LOOK INSIDE: Throne of Glass
Below are my chaotic thoughts that I had while reading Throne of Glass. There are spoilers included!
Original Sin: Full Season 1 Review
I loved the show Pretty Little Liars. I watched it from the day it premiered to the day it ended. I loved the Perfectionists and was sad when that got canceled. So when they announced another spin off - I was so excited.
