Synopsis:
Stefan and Damon find themselves facing a dangerous new enemy. When Stefan is put in a perilous situation, Damon and Elena try to persuade Alaric to help them rescue him. Elsewhere, Matt hopes his mother Kelly is home to stay, and Caroline makes a horrifying discovery that shocks the town.

The very first Damon, Alaric and Elena team up to get Stefan back
Lol Alaric at clocking the fact that Damon has feelings for Elena. But I am happy that we finally see the side of Damon and Stefan where they will risk their lives to save the other
The scene with Elena in the car with the vervain - you can see that it was light outside
Did Anna really think she could hide Jeremy from her mom?
Again, you can see that it is light out?
If only caroline never got out of her car
I am proud of them for saving Harper too
And of course they fall and Elena cuts herself, cause why not? I get they had to get Stefan to have human blood again so we could see what it is like, what he is like. This just feels like a really intense way to do it
Also, progress that Damon didn’t kill Alaric
If some out of the 25 left, I assume like 5 - Harper, Bethanne and Pearl are accounted for, that leaves like 17 left but there seems to be WAY more than that. Idk, maybe it just seems like a lot and we don’t know how many exactly were killed in the house
This moment of Kelly trying right before they find out about vicki is heartbreaking.
Mayor Lockwood - that was a shitty way to tell anyone. Especially someone you know cares about her.

I am glad jeremy and tyler put aside their differences to be there for matt and have someone else there to lean on. But matt telling caroline he needs to be alone and then running into elena’s arms is so stupid. Grief does insane things but like.. What
This marks the episode of the eventual Damon/alaric duo - in their rightful spots at the bar
Oh Jer…you thought she was a vampire and running around alive. Just lost another person, he doesn’t deserve it. And anna didn’t deserve to be used
Damon knows…he knows what human blood does to Stefan and about his addiction.
