Synopsis:
Stefan and Elena go on a double date with Caroline and Matt, but the evening does not go as planned. Damon discovers that there are more vampires in town when Anna pays him a surprising visit, and Jenna rekindles her friendship with Matt's mother Kelly. Meanwhile, Jeremy's relationship with Anna takes an unexpected turn.
Thoughts:
Anna being the teacher for all things 21st century makes me happy
Matt’s mom has no room to judge caroline - not when she behaves how she does
Matt seems half in his relationship with Caroline. He has so much going on, is a relationship the best?
I really do hate Frederick
A double date - what an awful idea
I love Stefan and Elena’s code and inside jokes
Jeremy looking this all up reminds me of Bella
Pearl coming in like she owns the place, owns the town is so dumb. The town was never theirs. They arrived after the town was founded
I love that Stefan is doing everything he can to make Elena’s life as normal as possible
Does Damon hit on every Mystic Falls mom/guardian?
I wonder what excuse they gave for Ben disappearing
I feel bad that Elena and Matt are just sharing stories about their past
Stefan calling himself or perceived self is so funny and normal
“I feel like i’ve been here before” - poor caroline
Jenna bowing out when they were being cringy is amazing - she is the most normal one out of everyone
I do like that kind of gave Stefan his blessing, i feel like it was a good step towards matt moving on
I wish everyone would leave Jenna alone
Can Frederick compel people without saying anything?
“I am always gonna be the backup” - how wrong she will be proven

This is the dumbest thing for Jeremy to do. Wtf.
So he officially knows and will be taken off of the Flag tracker! I didn’t track his inklings because nothing really happened that was suspicious, it was just us seeing what his suspicion was causing him to do
I get Caroline and Matts point - Caroline did choose to get into a relationship with her friends ex and their past isn’t just going to disappear. But go matt at reassuring her
Again. Damon and Kelly is creepy. How old is Damon supposed to be?
I wonder what Caroline remembers about damon?
Anna being treated like a kid still baffles me
Probably the only season we actually feel bad for Matt - he doesn’t deserve losing his sister or having to take care of his mom, pay the bills, etc.
Jeremy is too cute and awkward. Also, go him for figuring it out so quickly. I feel so bad that now he has a newfound hope that vicki is out there somewhere. I am not ready for the episode when he finds out the truth.
Jeremy wanting to be a vampire ends up being one of the most iconic things ever. I wonder what would have happened if he did turn.

Pearl is 400 years older than Damon, her and Katherine were best friends before arriving in Mystic Falls, so they met sometime in between there
