A LOOK INSIDE: Fate The Winx Saga - Season 2

Season 2 has finally arrived! Now that it has been out for awhile, I am not too worried about spoilers. It has been over a year and a half since season 1 and I am so glad that Netflix didn't decide to cancel it. Lets break it down!

Episode 1:

Starting off with horror, same as season 1 I like it. Plus a new creature/mystery to start the new plot of season 2

New male fairy? I like the intro to new characters. Is that the dude from all american

new hair and styles

Ros was recast - not sure how I feel about it

New armor for the specialists - ew. we seem to have a lot of new things this season. did they get a bigger budget? or different people on the show. drives me nuts when shows do this.

Nice to see them all getting along

Love interest for aisha? I like Grey

I wonder how sky is doing with his dad being the new headmaster

They are having Sauls old students transfer him? Don't they have a solarian guard to do that

They talk like a cult

another mystery - is it another creature?

beax is starting to distrust ros, which I like. She might switch sides

I can't believe skys dad is so unconnected to him. Sky is becoming dark, i am worried what he will do

cruel and unusual punishment - i can't believe how military and screwed this is

Harvey was also recast - why so many recasts

I like that we are getting new characters and new locations

Not totally sure what the plot for this season is except missing students and it seems like ros is experimenting on them. and that ros is expelling anyone who goes against her or could be a threat to her new military state

she really did kidnap students - wow this will not go over well.

Episode 2:

I like that we get new creatures - budget must have gone up

FLORA!

Does terra have a love interest now too? Oh i hope flora stays away from riven.

With sky going down a road of feeling like he has something to prove - it won't go well.

hard to believe that ros would actually let bloom alone in her office. but of course bloom finds a picture of the creature. bloom sucks at lying. I wonder how important what bloom was reading.

why allow saul in the front of the store - that is bold

love any moment with taylors music behind it, this was just what soom needed.

i am surprised that musa doesn't pick up on terra's uncertainty and uncomfortability

love getting this teenager esque bits sprinkled through all the darkness.

riven having a heart and realizing there is more to what is going on is the exact character development i wanted from him.

plot doesn't seem to be developing as quickly as last season - most likely due to more episodes. we are getting more character development scenes which i don't mind.

musa taking peoples emotions is gonna crumble down, sam might leave her

ros killed him in front of everyone, that was bold

the imagery of skys past burning around him was powerful

is it only mind fairies that she is taking?

wow beax betraying riv, i was hoping she wouldn't. i am not sure that riv will survive. saul coming to alfea was brave - why would he risk that?

Episode 3:

saul saying sky sounds like andreas was such an insult - sky has lost his identity

a celebration, perfect breeding ground for problems - ros definitely has something planned to secure her position as headmistress

i don't think ros wants the magic for herself

beax wants to be a part of the group, i hope they welcome her in

ros really wipe riv's mind? better than killing or kidnapping him. still seems aggressive

dane is starting to realize he got mixed up with the wrong people. he is going to be a loose canon

ros loves using people. this is how we get dark bloom, not by blooms choice

beax losing everyone hopefully pushes her to the good side, where she can see that people truly care

ros trying to humanize her actions, trying to turn bloom into her. separate bloom from her friends.

they really cut the trailer in a way that made flora seem evil or bad - but she isn't so far. they did great at not giving away too much of plot points in the trailer.

i hate that it is aisha who is getting attacked by this thing

sam leaving alfea was unexpected but i was pretty sure something would happen would happen to him. I am glad he didn't die. also glad he and musa talked - that he forgave musa.

is ros a blood witch? she has been manipulating so much - they saw devin die but it was a trick?

interesting move pardoning silva, is ros controlling his mind?

the creatures attacking beax is new. if the blood witches are controlling the creatures maybe they want her back

Episode 4

glad to see andreas care about someone

did ros kidnap beax?

marco the fairy from episode 1 with the water? but he is a specialist? very confusing wait he is an air fairy? this doesn't line up.

blood witch controlling blood explains the instance of the specialist in the first episode

i hope we see the scene of bloom in water with the angelic creature from the og series

blood witch in the school? has there been any new to school? new character we haven't met yet?

i hate seeing terra so mad at musa, she is going to feel isolated. poor stella for not being able to leave.

there is a past to terra and riven, i want to know what happened. is that all?

dane and musa - not sure i like this friendship. i worry he will lead her down a bad road

now andreas has seen them so it isn't anyone at the pub

ros asking bloom to keep more secrets angers me

this scene at the pub must have been so fun to film since they are all friends

but is it really beatrix? how long till we get a reveal of the blood witch at the school

musa is gonna learn to fight

sebastian was such a good plot twist! he did seem too helpful. him having powers now scares me. i think we will learn more about combination magic from season 1

Beax without magic will be interesting, she will have to find out who she is again

terra coming out is perfection, i am so glad she finally was able to admit it to herself

wow, so much happened at the end of the episode, the plot is finally starting to speed up. musa wasn't bitten for a second, does she still have her powers? And andreas being dead - that is going to kill sky.

if musa doesn't have her powers anymore, i could see her becoming a specialists. she has been talking about wanting to do more or to learn how to fight. she has also had multiple scenes with 2/3 of our main specialists developing friendships with them. could be who she has to lean on if she doesn't have magic

Episode 5:

please tell me that bloom is being a double agent and isn't going to help sebastian

thank goodness.

those creatures are nasty.

musa without magic, so sad. same with beax.

excuse me bloom, ros was never on your side.

I had a feeling the specialists would help, who musa would lean on. and musa training.

do they have counselors at alfea? seems like some intense situations that the students go through

combination magic - knew we would hear that again

sky drinking, i don't like that this is what he has turned to. he is going to turn into season 1 riv

why have 1 guard, who is a student, who just killed his father, alone

I love everyone's reaction to terra coming out and how accepted she feels

can blood witches erase memories? or was it sebastian using mind magic

love this montage of seeing their growth in their powers

i wonder if how she was drained blocks her from getting the jump start they are trying to do or if luna didn't send the right thing cause she is a part of this

what they are feeling, is this how we will get more transformations?

oh no, that rock is now charged

mole - grey?

oh beax and sky talking - i understand beax grief i just wish she wouldn't take it out on sky

wtf is ros doing. bloom is gonna get stuck in the first world isn't she with whatever rose is doing

musa purposely wasn't open to the magic. She doesn't want to be a fairy anymore.

odd solution but of course bloom is stuck outside of alfea and meeting sebastian. not as much setting up for disaster.

sebastian has a point, bloom couldn't kill the one person who knows the truth about her.

they don't even consider that someone took over skys mind?

that explains how she lost it, i love seeing this side of riven. the bad boy redemption arc. will they develop feelings?

i hope bloom doesn't kill sebastian, that would destroy her. her and sky could become beyond toxic.

ros is still controlling the situation. knows more than she is letting on.

go bloom for not losing control.

how does sebastian know what happened to farah?

no, grey is the mole. he wanted to explain it to aisha.

why is ros trying to make bloom lose control?

grow up? she is 17 and just found out you killed her mentor

similar scene to the OG series

no way is ros dead but is this how we get dark bloom?

Episode 6:

i am glad that they understanding that bloom didn't have control, also that the winx aren't fighting it

this was planned, luna and ros planned this to start the war.

this new friendship between stel and bloom reminds me of og series

mention of netflix lol

im surprised riven was so against musa becoming a specialist

i understand why bloom is pushing sky out but i wish she wouldn't

poor aisha. how is grey hiding? how did he get out? did the barrier break down when ros "died"

bloom doesn't want to lose control again and hurt her friends or sky. ptsd

sky guarding her is beyond sweet. i love that even when he feels lost, he doesn't want to lose her

musa isn't playing dress up. riven feels protective of her, interesting.

i can't wait until terra finds someone who chooses her

i feel like ros knew bloom would find out and moved farahs body

this trial is precious

there is something else going on.

oh stella. but i mean bloom is the dragon flame. so now that ros is gone, luna is gonna want bloom under her control

you think isolation is going to make things better? where is the logic in that?

is luna showing heart or is this more for control?

aisha's world has crumbled down around her. i hope grey gets a redemption arc

random - does flora have an american accent?

this scene with bloom in the stasis reminds me of a scene from the og series

I KNEW IT

wait. her spirit - interesting. i hope this gets bloom her pardon

will the boys be able to fight grey?

blooms hair has continued to change. now she has a balayage

i love the callback with the hug. i wish farah could have helped pardon her though.

this attack scares me, nothing good can come from it.

beax switched sides but not where i thought. wow

episode 7:

cause nothing else could be happening.

what is beax doing, who is she?

a split focused bloom won't be good.

bloom is connected to something he is doing. we saw the burned ones?

flora has figured out enough about scrapers

i hope bloom lets her friends help and she realizes while she is strong, they are stronger together

no, i was really hoping that sky got out unscathed.

realm of darkness shadow - callback to og series

now beax has two sisters - we are getting the og 3 villains. (Trix)

terra and big speeches - that was amazing.

YES TERRA!!

why can't they all work together. why do they need to keep sacrificing themselves

oh, i love blooms backstory. but please fight back bloom

please don't kill flora our first season with her

i am glad that aisha didn't forgive grey but i hope he gets redeemed

tell me sky isn't dead. or beax now that she found her family

i am glad grey saved sky

why does sebastian have his arms crossed

three more transformations?! i love how similar they are to the og series

i am not convinced he is dead

does dance finally have someone?

blooms vision is gonna come true - next season story? tell me bloom tells someone. or does she try to open the portal to find her mom?

musa is going to try to get rid of her powers or be a specialist

did he open the portal? oh he did

this scene with sky is devastating

in the og series, she is able to come back. I hope that is true

i am glad we get to see her in the realm of darkness.

musa choosing to wear the bracelets is surprising but i am glad she found a way to do what she wanted/needed. aww terra on her first date. stella seeing beax. poor aisha with the hawk - i hope she didn't think it was for nothing. will bloom find her mom? grey redemption? oh flora, that is so much trauma to heal from. Is stella going to find beax sisters? but will they want revenge? oh no the shadow came through. if the shadow can raise people, maybe it will raise beax? that is her connection to it? she was in astor dell for a reason.
