Synopsis:
"After seeing Stefan catch, Mr Tanner tries to persuade him to join the school football team. Bonnie tries to convince Elena that Stefan is not who he says he is, but Elena refuses to listen. Elena invites Stefan and Bonnie to dinner, hoping that the two will bond, but the evening is disrupted by the unexpected and unwelcome arrival of Damon and Caroline. Elsewhere, Damon continues to feed off Caroline, and Jeremy wonders where he stands with Vicki."
Thoughts:
Now that Damon has attacked Caroline and made her forget/not realize what is happening - she will not be counted for Supernatural flags since she has been forced to not remember and not have time to tell anyone anything before Damon compels her to forget
Could you imagine how terrifying that would be to wake up, know you had been attacked and try to leave? How does anyone forgive Damon for doing this to Caroline?
Vicki needs to stop ping ponging between Tyler and Jeremy
Elena, why wouldn't you listen to your best friend's concerns about the guy you are seeing? But having a dinner together is a good way to try to mend it and combine your "worlds"!
Bonnie and the numbers - would be a supernatural flag
This history teacher - Stefan says anytime when he answers a question and he took it as a challenge. wtf - of course he is the football coach too
Nina is looking like her Degrassi days. I love that she is trying to get back to her old life.
Does Caroline missing all day count as a supernatural flag since it is so out of the norm? And then her showing up with Damon?
I almost counted the buddy pass as a supernatural flag but I don't think Matt and Tyler were expecting him to get hurt or surprised that he walked out of it okay
The way Damon talks about Elena is creepy.
Stefan definitely knows Bonnie is a witch now. Wouldn't her last name Bennett give it away? But I love how his description of Salem witches wins her over.
Caroline is being such a bitch - I wonder if it is her personality or damon's compulsion
Elena is being flirty with Damon. I don't like it. The fact that Elena doesn't get dates about Katherine should be a red flag. We learn that Damon and Stefan dated Katherine. Interesting how Damon actually shows humanity and sees how miserable Elena is cheerleading. I like seeing some of his humanity show through. I think that Elena shows him compassion, his shell breaks a bit.
Steafan knows Caroline is now Damon's puppet. He also knows how bad it is now that Damon has been invited hin.
Such a creepy thing for Damon to put in Elena's head.
(We see the crow again which means Damon can still control it)
Interesting how Elena listens to Damon's advice and quits Cheerleading. The infamous necklace! It is probably the most high school thing Stefan has done giving it to her
Do schools still have pep rallys before games like this?
Elena is really second guessing stefan, she is close to figuring out that stefan isn't human
We finally learn about Vervain! The writers are taking their time establishing everything about vampires and the lore. How long till we learn how vervain works. Can you just wear it or do you have to consume it? Also, love that we finally get the name compulsion!
Why is damon so against having humanity
Elena is so worried she is going to lose more people
